Houston's Computer Lab
This semester:
Fifth graders are learning about Finance. They are working on a program called Vault. In this program, students wii be learning how to make good decisions, budgeting and spending, income and career, credit and borrowing and future planning in regards to money.

Third Grade
In third grade, the students will learn about the computer parts and its functions. They will be introduce to google classroom and its different applications. Also they will learn to use google docs, google drawing, google slides, and google sheets to complete several projects. They will learn how to use the camera, the internet and how to insert pictures into their projects. They will be introduce to internet safety through the use of videos and websites that will allow them to explore how to be safe online. In addition, they will be learning how to code and reviewing skills (keyboarding, math, reading, etc...) using different websites.
Fourth Grade
In fourth grade, the students will use previous skills learned to complete assignments and projects by using google drawing, google docs, google sheets, and google slides. In addition, they will build upon these skills and they will review skills (keyboarding, math, reading, etc...) by using a variety of websites.
Fifth Grade
In fifth grade, the students will use previous skills learned to complete assignments and projects using google docs, slides, sheets and drawings. In addition, they will build upon these skills and review skills (keyboarding, math, reading, etc...) by using a variety of websites.
